Together
Picture an evening in your favorite restaurant. The place is not so crowded. Outside, the wind is slightly blowing and a magnificent sunset can be spotted out of your window.
You order your favorite drink and a snack. You are alone on your table.
Next to you is a table of three. From their conversations, you can tell that they are great friends. They always come in twice a week at the same time and sit on the exact table. The restaurant manager and staff are so fond of them.
You don’t intend to eavesdrop, and yet you always listen in. Some stories are sad. Some exciting. Some shocking and others revolting. Others are deep and personal.
For three months, you come in early and sit in your usual spot. You listen. At first it was by accident…but later, you realize that you continually keep showing up because these stories make you think, reflect, grind your teeth in anger, stiffle a giggle…..and also maybe because just as you listen, once or twice you felt like “I can relate to that. That’s exactly what I went through myself”.
You can now stop imagining.
In those few paragraphs, I simply explained what Echoes Over Coffee is all about. Every story published on this platform is told in such a personal and conversational manner.
We let you in on some of the most exclusive and innner most real life experiences from our own lives.
I love writing. I do this for free. No payment. The time I published the first stories three months ago, I felt so content and fulfilled. I recall waking up one day feeling, “If I died today, I would die smiling”. This is what I love doing and I am so glad to have you here with me. I appreciate the growing views numbers and the comments.
On Friday, June 10, 2022- Echoes Over Coffee will be celebrating three months since the publication of it’s first story, When You Reach Your Wit’s End. Special thanks go out to the genius Norman who developed this site. Also, a big THANK YOU to everyone who reads, comments and shares the links. Merci beaucoup. I look forward to growing old with you, honestly.
Again, Thank You. May the rest of the year be good to you.

Ooh dear….first off I’m one person who used to enjoy reading under my breath but surprisingly these stories are just too good to be read that way I often find myself reading each word out loud and do all sorts of facial expressions.
All the pieces are full of so much insight so every time I get a notification that there’s a new story, I literally can’t wait to sit down in a quiet place and read out loud to myself.
So thank you for letting is into your world;sharing all the good and bad so that we can learn, laugh and even cry together.
You truly are the sweetest. Thank you Joy. I always wait as eagerly for your comments. They are genuine, thoughtful, kind and full of wisdom. Even more, thank you for being the first reader to share a personal experience published in four parts. Many people can relate to your experience, so thank you. May God convict you to share more stories 😅😅
Haha,amen…
Thank you for these real life issues shared here. I surely pick up a thing or two everytime I read.
You’re welcome Tuka. Thank you for being part of this growing family. Every reader and comment means the world to me.
